Deactivation risk, honestly.
Nobody can promise that a delivery platform won't deactivate your account. Here is what their terms say, what Swervo does to lower the risk, and what stays in your hands.
What the platforms' terms say
- No delivery platform's driver terms we read allow third-party tools like Swervo. Several prohibit automated use of their app, and some prohibit reading or monitoring it.
- Platforms have deactivated drivers and sent legal letters over tools that signed in with drivers' logins, accepted or declined offers automatically, or grabbed batches and blocks.
- We found no case of a driver deactivated for a tool that only reads and speaks. That is what we found as of September 2026, not a promise.
Read your own delivery app's terms: they are the ones that apply to you, and they change.
How Swervo lowers the risk
- Observe never taps. The free level reads the offer and speaks. Every level starts there, and Test Shift lets you watch its calls before you decide anything.
- It never asks for your delivery login. Swervo never signs in to your delivery account and never contacts a platform's servers. It reads your screen, on your phone.
- It says what it is. Swervo tells Android truthfully that it is not an accessibility tool for people with disabilities. When an app keeps its offer card from Swervo's screen reader, Swervo doesn't try to get around that by tapping: it speaks, and you tap.
- No disguised taps. If you turn Autopilot on, its taps are plain presses on the button you would press, after a countdown you set (2 to 10 seconds). One tap on the bar stops it. Nothing is made to look like a person tapping.
- Where an app's terms are stricter, it holds back more. Swervo never taps in two of the four apps it reads, and never taps offers in a third. Autopilot's taps work in one app today.
- Some steps are always yours. Arriving, picking up, dropping off and the delivery photo: Swervo never taps those.
What stays in your hands
- The level: Observe (speaks, never taps), Assisted (declines offers marked skip, if you choose it) or Auto (taps the button you would press, if you choose it). Anything above Observe asks you to read a risk warning first.
- Each app has its own switch, so you can leave an app out entirely.
- You can change your mind mid-shift: drop back to Observe at any time.
No guarantees. Automatic tapping may break a delivery app's rules, and platforms can deactivate accounts. Swervo can't appeal a deactivation for you or promise any outcome. If keeping your account is worth more to you than saved taps, stay on Observe.
