Swervo runs on Android phones only today. Here's why, and what drivers with an iPhone do.
Why Android only
Swervo reads the offer in your delivery app, on the same phone, while it's on screen. Android lets an app you approve do that; iOS doesn't let one app read another. So there's no iPhone version today, and we won't promise one.
What the driving phone needs
- Android 9 or newer
- GPS (location) turned on
- A data connection, such as your iPhone's hotspot
- A car mount, and a charger for long shifts
Many drivers keep their iPhone for everything else and mount a budget Android phone for driving, sharing the iPhone's hotspot with it. Your delivery apps run on the Android phone, signed in to your own accounts.
The phone we test on
We test Swervo on the Motorola moto g power 5G (2024), a budget Android phone. Swervo needs Android 9 or newer; if it can't run on your phone, a paid plan is refunded in full within 14 days. Swervo isn't affiliated with Motorola, and we don't sell phones or earn anything from one.
